Welcome to the online Fair Trade product sales for First Congregational Church Palo Alto. Until we are able to gather together for church services, we want to make our delicious, all-organic Fair Trade products available to you via online ordering. We want to continue supporting the small farmers and co-ops throughout the world by providing them with steady income streams. Ordering is as easy as 1-2-3.
1. Shop: Browse the site, select the tempting items you want to order and add them to your cart. We accept orders one week of each month, currently September 11-17. We will do our best to maintain a sufficient supply of the products you love. We've added new products so please check them out.
2. Check Out and Pay: When your cart is complete, select check out then enter your contact information and method of payment (credit card or PayPal account only).
3. Pick Up Your Order or Request Delivery: To pick up your order, please come to the breezeway outside the church on Saturday, Saturday 19, 1-3 pm. If you live in a retirement community in Palo Alto or have special requirements and live in a nearby town, our volunteer team is happy to provide free delivery to you. We will also provide free delivery for orders of at least $20 to most nearby towns. To request delivery, please select the red Delivery Request box on the order confirmation you receive via email. If you do not see an order confirmation email from FCCPA FairTradeTeam (FairTrade@fccpa.org), please check your junk mail or spam folder.
Your safety matters to us. We will wear masks and gloves or use hand sanitizer while handling all Fair Trade products, including when we assemble and bag your orders. Please wear a mask and practice physical distancing when picking up your order.
Fair Trade at First Congregational Church Palo Alto is a ministry of the Outreach Board. We partner with Boston-based Equal Exchange to source the products we sell. Equal Exchange helps keep small independent farmers and co-ops as an active part of the world agricultural marketplace, allowing them to earn fair, stable incomes that are not available through multinational agribusiness corporations. We hope you will support independent farmers and co-ops to the greatest extent possible, while enjoying delicious, value-priced, organic foods.
Our team includes Nancy Peterson, Wes Chow, Loren Gordon and Karen Routt. We have a strong congregational commitment to Fair Trade, established and sustained by Jean Roth and Margaret Beeler. We hope you will support independent farmers and coops to the greatest extent possible, while enjoying delicious, organic foods.
