“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” - Matthew 6:21

This is our theme for the 2026 Stewardship Campaign.
As I reflected on it, I kept coming back to a simple way of understanding it in everyday life:

Come together, lift each other up, and focus on what truly matters - because what we invest in, shapes who we become.

For me, this isn’t a complicated idea. It’s actually quite practical.

We already come together - in worship, in Sacred Grounds, in the playground, on committees and boards, serving outside of our campus, and in shared moments of joy and challenge. We create spaces where community can gather and grow. And, we already lift each other up, often in ways both seen and unseen. This is part of what makes FCCPA’s community so special and meaningful.

The question this passage invites us to consider is:  What truly matters to us? Because what we focus on - where we put our time, our energy, and our resources - is what grows.

This year, for the first time, our campaign goal is over $1,000,000. If we care about a church that is welcoming to all, that supports people in every stage of life, that creates space for connection, reflection, and growth - then we invest in it. Not just in spirit, but in real, tangible ways. Many of you have helped build and sustain this community in ways both large and small. Our shared commitments make possible everything from maintaining safe and welcoming spaces to supporting missions to ensuring that this community continues to thrive for years to come.

Each of us plays a role in that.

As you consider your financial commitment this year, in the spirit of what really matters to you, please dig deeper to generously support the community that means so much to you. We invite those who are able to consider increasing their pledge by 3.5% or more. We also warmly welcome our new attendees and members and invite them to pledge any amount that feels meaningful.

Kindly complete and return the canary-yellow form that was mailed to you, either by dropping it off at the church office, mailing it back to us, or submitting the Estimated Giving Form online. Your commitment, in any amount, is deeply appreciated and will remain confidential.

With deep appreciation,
Karen Routt, Moderator
2026-27 Stewardship Committee

We gather as a church, welcoming people of all abilities, backgrounds, ethnicities, and those who are LGBTQ+, to become more aware of the love of God in our lives and to make real that love in the world through worshiping, serving humanity, and seeking to follow in the ways of Jesus.
