Learn & Connect

Adult Faith Formation
In a world focused on "being successful", it can be challenging to feel a greater sense of purpose and fellowship. The adult faith formation programs provide opportunities for adults to feel engaged and connected to a supportive community and grow in our capacity to follow in the way of Jesus.
  • Sunday morning after-worship forums - focusing on social justice, local community needs, or sharing our faith journeys
  • Faith and Film - Watch a film and meet to discuss
  • Contemplative prayer - Held Wednesday at noon in the Sanctuary
  • Bible and Theological Studies - From a progressive Christian perspective

Tuesday Fellowship

Tuesday Evening Classes - 7:30 P.M.

Join us for adult education classes every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. on Zoom.
Some weeks we discuss a topic like “Prayer” or “Resurrection”. On other weeks, we work through a curriculum that helps to deepen our understanding of our scriptural and theological tradition.
Children's Faith Formation

Our programs help children learn the biblical and spiritual traditions of our faith, feel a sense of connection to church, and love God and their neighbors.

We provide the foundation of a child's faith journey through participation in spring musicals, Evening in Bethlehem, Vacation Bible School, children's choirs, and Sunday School.

Wednesdays Contemplative Prayer - 12 P.M.

All are welcome to join us for a half hour at noon on Wednesdays in the Memorial Garden for a time of silent prayer. We begin with a brief reading or reflection and then sit in silence together for 20 minutes before closing with a voiced prayer. Contact Eileen Altman for more information.

Peace & Justice Task Force -  12:30 P.M.

The Peace and Justice Task Force develops strategies for our congregation to learn about and respond to peace and justice concerns in our community, nation, and world. The group meets monthly, usually on the third Tuesday of the month. Contact Steve Ketchpel for more information.

Memoirs Writing Group  - 10:30 A.M.

The Memoirs Writing Group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am. We will meet in the Casaday Library from 10:30 to 12 noon. All are welcome. For questions, contact Cammy Sunde.

We gather as a church, welcoming people of all abilities, backgrounds, ethnicities, and those who are LGBTQ+, to become more aware of the love of God in our lives and to make real that love in the world through worshiping, serving humanity, and seeking to follow in the ways of Jesus.
