How do you know that these items are supporting Fair Trade farmers?
All of the products come from Equal Exchange. Their mission is “to build long-term trade partnerships that are economically just and environmentally sound, to foster mutually beneficial relationships between farmers and consumers and to demonstrate, through our success, the contribution of worker co-operatives and Fair Trade to a more equitable, democratic and sustainable world.”
THE ORDER PROCESS
When can I order Fair Trade products?
The order window for Fair Trade products occurs once a month. Use the FCCPA Fair Trade website to find out about the next order window and place your order.
Why can’t I place my order now?
The dedicated, but small Fair Trade team wants to ensure that you have a high-quality experience. With that in mind, we are allow ordering only a few days a month. Please keep in mind that when the ordering website is inactive that we are working behind the scenes evaluating our inventory levels, ordering products from Equal Exchange, updating the website, and evaluating the customer process. Should you have an absolute emergency please contact FairTrade@fccpa.org.
Can I pay cash for my order?
All online orders require that you pay with a credit card or Pay Pal. Setting up an account on PaypPal isn’t required if you choose that option.
If an item I want is sold out, then when can I order it?
We re-stock on a regular basis. Most items will be available during the next order period, assuming our Fair Trade supplier has the stock.
All of my items are in my cart, but I cannot access the page to pay. What should I do?
Don’t worry! We will find a way for you to pay! This may occur if you jump back and forth between the Checkout and Product pages. Try:
1. Use a different browser: Sometimes the browser you are using gets confused. Use a different browser to place your order.
2. Empty your browser’s cache: The cache allows for quicker loading times of the sites you frequent, but it can work against you over time. Learn how to empty your browser’s cache here.
If neither of these work, please contact FairTrade@fccpa.org.
I know I ordered, but I can’t find my email confirmation.
We have found that many customers find the confirmation in their spam or junk folder. Please check those folders.

You can pick up your purchase at the church on the Saturday following the close of the order window: 1-3 pm.

Can I have my order delivered?
We deliver under certain conditions:
1. Orders of $20 or more to these communities: Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, East Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, and Stanford.
2. Orders of any amount to a retirement community in: Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, East Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, and Stanford.
3. By special arrangement.
I qualify for my order to be delivered. How do I arrange for delivery?
Please enter your delivery information (address and contact phone number) as part of the purchase process where you asked for “shipping” information.
When will my order be delivered?
You should expect your delivery on the Saturday following the close of the order window: 1-3 pm. You will be contacted if the delivery is not going to occur as scheduled.
