These organic Medjool dates are grown by a 12-member farmer coop in Jericho, Palestine. As juicy as they are, it’s remarkable to learn that Medjool dates require less water and can grow using the slightly salty water underneath the reservoirs of freshwater that can be in short supply. The dates are perfect for snacking, and for use in making appetizers as well as in baking or cooking. The nicely boxed dates would be a very special gift -- if you’re willing to part with them.
