CROP Hunger Walk 2024

On Sunday, October 27th you can join with other faith groups and community members to fight hunger and poverty in our community and worldwide by walking from St. Raymond’s Catholic Church (1100 Santa Cruz Ave. in Menlo Park) around a lovely residential area. Registration and music from the Stragglyrs starts at 1:00 PM and the walk begins at 2:00 PM. CROP stands for “Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty.” The money raised goes to two wonderful organizations: Church World Service and the Ecumenical Hunger Program in East Palo Alto. Both these groups let the people they serve set their own goals and they strive to solve problems sustainably. Bring the whole family and neighbors to enjoy the walk, and if you can’t come that day, you can make a donation to the FCCPA team or to an individual walker. Register as a walker or donate   here.

FCCPA OUTREACH BOARD
Meeting Needs Beyond Our Church

Most people think that churches only ask for support, but did you
know that FCCPA also gives support?

Picture
Thanks to your financial donations to FCCPA, the Outreach Board is able to support impactful nonprofits.  With your gifts of time, talents and treasures, we can meet the tremendous needs of our community beyond the walls of FCCPA.  We are honored and proud to be a church community driven by the mission of serving the needs of others.

On behalf of FCCPA, the Outreach Board awards grants to nonprofits in three sectors: Human Needs; Education and Faith Formation; and Environment, Peace and Justice.  This year we will support 16 agencies with more than $37,520.  Because of you and your generosity, our support has a profound impact on the world.  Click here to learn more.

In Gratitude,
