MEN 'S RETREAT 2023What it Means to Be a Man
Join leaders Stanford Professor Tomás Jiménez, Pastor David Howell, and Blake Putney for the return of our Men’s Retreat! We will explore questions about what it means to be a man for our communities and for ourselves. We will gather at Asilomar Conference Grounds from dinner on Friday, February 3 through lunch on the 5th. We will have our usual festivities, including a welcome reception, programs, worship services, late night songs and games, and Saturday afternoon groups including hiking, biking, napping, jam session and more. We request that participants complete a Covid test prior to the retreat. Additional details will be sent to all registrants, and refunds will be offered in the case of positive tests. The cost for the full weekend is $480 for a quad or $750 for a single. The location for the retreat is Asilomar in Pacific Grove, a beautiful and comfortable setting for our time together. We gather as a church, welcoming people of all abilities, backgrounds, ethnicities, and those who are LGBTQ+, to become more aware of the love of God in our lives and to make real that love in the world through worshiping, serving humanity, and seeking to follow in the ways of Jesus.
