Heart and  Home  

 From the first Sunday of January through the first Sunday of February, our church hosts in our Social Hall the Heart and Home Collaborative (H+H), a non-profit women’s shelter serving up to 15 self-identifying women who are unhoused in Palo Alto. Since 2012, H+H has provided nightly winter shelter, rotating through different places of worship in Palo Alto. Working closely with local congregations, the neighboring communities, and a Stanford University student team, H+H provides resources and creates dialogue and connection between shelter participants and volunteers. 
 
FCCPA members can support this shelter in the following ways:

• Sign-up to provide an evening meal
• Donate to support the shelter
• Sign up to volunteer 
• Serve as a Site-Host from ~5:45-8:30 p.m. four times during the month they’re here, e.g., every Monday
• Serve as our H+H Coordinator or Co-Coordinator
